Lue is the brass products brand by Ruka Kikuchi in Setouchi city, Okayama Prefecture. This collection named as "Industorial Product" series is based on his handcraft original shape, and produced with the machinery in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture that is famous for good quality metalwork. The mixture of the natural shape and the elaborate industrial production is the attraction of the items.

What is Brass?
Brass is a metal alloy made of copper and zinc. Copper is said to have the effect of sterilizing, and zinc is the one of necessary minerals for the human body. Brass is a material which will develop its beautiful character as it is aged. This change causes by oxide film on the surface, it also protects the brass itself and even reduces the metallic tasting.

How to Use
Please wash with dish detergent after use and wipe with cloth to remove moisture. As it is used with the care, the oxide film will cover the surface evenly. It might cause verdigris (green rust) or get dark if the item is left in the food, unwashed or just left for long time. If it causes verdigris or gets dark, please polish it with the mixture of salt and vinegar or detergent with polisher. If it is does not come off easily, please put the item in the water with vinegar for one night.
